The Patriot's Inn in Kilmainham, Dublin City, owes much of its fame to its location but is also a pleasant place to enjoy a pint.

Above The Patriot's Inn door is a sign which boldly states 'this old pub standeth on sacred ground surrounded by the high walls of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, by the ancient cemetery of Bully's Acre and Kilmainham Gaol'. There has been an inn on this site since 1793.

After a tour of Kilmainham Gaol, unwind in the lounge, soak up the historical ambiance and enjoy a pint with a hearty meal. Irish stew, fish and chips, Dublin coddle and smashed burgers are some of the menu favourites. The Patriot's Inn offers a variety of entertainment with live major sports on big screens, weekly live music, comedy and event nights.

The Patriot's Inn is a place where hospitality, history, culture and music meet to give you a truly memorable experience of an Irish local pub.
